Build Your Career by Design, Not by Chance
Build Your Career by Design, Not by Chance
You've done the hard work, updated your resume, applied to the right roles, and landed the interview. Now comes the part that most people underestimate.
Interviews are a skill. And like any skill, the people who practice consistently are the ones who perform when it counts. Yet most job seekers walk in having only rehearsed answers in their head, hoping their experience will speak for itself. The problem? Interviewers aren't just evaluating your background, they're evaluating how you communicate it, how you handle pressure, and how confidently you show up in the room.
That's exactly what this service is designed to fix. Whether you're a recent grad stepping into your first professional interview, a career changer navigating tough "why are you pivoting?" questions, or a mid-career professional who simply hasn't interviewed in a while, targeted preparation and real practice can be the difference between a callback and a rejection.
Interview Prep Session
A focused 1:1 session where we build your foundation crafting your personal narrative, coaching you on the STAR method for behavioral questions, tackling tough questions like career gaps or pivots, and sending you off with a personalized question guide tailored to your target role.
Mock Interview Session
A realistic, role-specific simulation that puts your preparation to the test. You'll get real-time coaching on what you're saying and how you're saying it, plus detailed written feedback with specific action steps so you know exactly what to refine before the real thing.

What's the difference between the Interview Prep session and the Mock Interview session?
The Interview Prep session is where we build your strategy and sharpen your story, it's a coaching conversation focused on preparation. The Mock Interview session is where you put that preparation into practice in a realistic simulation. They work best together, but each can also stand on its own depending on where you are in your process.
Which package should I choose?
If you're starting fresh or have an interview coming up soon, Interview Prep + 1 Mock Interview is the most popular choice and gives you the best balance of preparation and practice. If you're already well-prepared and just need a realistic run-through, the standalone Mock Interview is a great fit. If you're pursuing competitive roles or going through a significant career transition, the Interview Prep + 2 Mock Interviews package gives you the most thorough experience.
How should I prepare before my sessions?
Before your Interview Prep session, it helps to have a copy of your resume handy and a clear sense of the type of role or industry you're targeting. The more context you can share about your goals and situation, the more personalized the session will be.
For Mock Interview sessions, treat it like the real thing. Dress professionally, show up on time, and join the virtual call just as you would an actual interview. The session will begin as an interview from the moment we connect. No small talk, no warm-up. This helps simulate the real pressure so your feedback is as accurate and useful as possible. Time at the end of the call will be reserved for coaching, feedback, and next steps.
Make sure to purchase the Interview Prep & Mock Interview product from my Square storefront prior to your call.
How soon can I book, and how far apart should my sessions be?
Sessions can typically be booked within a few days of purchase. If you're doing multiple sessions, spacing them at least a few days apart is recommended so you have time to review your feedback and implement changes before your next session. If you have an interview deadline, just mention it when booking and we'll do our best to accommodate your timeline.
How do you keep track of what sessions I have left?
I like to keep things clear and organized for my clients, so I create a personalized Google Doc for each person I work with. This document serves as your running record: it tracks what you've purchased, which sessions have been used, and how many you still have available to schedule.
I'll also use it as a living resource between our sessions, occasionally adding notes, insights, or useful takeaways from our work together. Many of my clients find it helpful to bookmark or save the document so they can reference it anytime.
